Size & Fit Guidance

The Moab Speed 2 Mid GTX fits true to size for most wearers. Hikers with narrower or lower-volume feet may find that pairing with a thicker sock or an aftermarket insole helps achieve a more locked-in feel. For the best fit, we recommend ordering your standard size and testing with your preferred hiking sock before heading out on longer trails.

Best For

Day hikers, all-weather commuters, and active workers who need a rugged mid boot that performs equally well on demanding backcountry trails and long days on mixed terrain.

Cushioning & Road Feel

The FloatPro Foam midsole delivers a noticeably springy, trail-runner-inspired ride underfoot, keeping each step light even over miles of rocky terrain. FlexPlate technology smooths transitions and adds just enough forefoot rigidity to protect against sharp rocks and uneven surfaces, making the Moab Speed 2 Mid GTX a strong performer across a wide range of conditions.

Break-In & Durability

Most wearers find the Moab Speed 2 Mid GTX comfortable right from the first wear, with the upper conforming naturally to the foot over the first few outings for an increasingly personalized fit.
